Frequently Asked Questions

‘Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a reservation to paint?

No reservation is needed! We’re a walk-in studio open Monday – Saturday from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM so you can stop by anytime during business hours.

Do you offer pottery wheel classes or clay throwing?

No. We are a paint-your-own pottery studio, where you choose a piece of pre-fired pottery (called bisque) and decorate it however you’d like. After you’re finished, we’ll apply a clear glaze and fire your piece in our kiln. Your finished pottery will be ready for pickup approximately one week after your visit.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring your own beverages, snacks, or meals while you paint. However, NO alcohol.

How much does it cost?

There is a $10 studio fee per painter, plus the cost of the pottery piece you choose. Pottery is individually priced, with most pieces ranging from $20–$40, though we offer options in a variety of price ranges.

What types of pottery do you have?

We offer one of the largest selections of paint-your-own pottery, including:

  • Mugs
  • Plates
  • Bowls
  • Platters & serving trays
  • Measuring cups & mixing bowls
  • Beer steins, wine glasses & margarita glasses
  • Dragons
  • Princesses & castles
  • Animals
  • Trucks, cars & other vehicles
  • And much more!

How long does it take to paint?

Most guests spend about 1½ hours painting, but you’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like. There’s no time limit, and if needed, you can return another day to finish your project.

When will my pottery be ready?

Your pottery will be glazed and fired in our kiln, reaching temperatures of over 1,800°F, and will be ready for pickup in approximately one week.

How long will you hold my finished pottery?

We’ll hold completed pottery for 30 days after it’s ready for pickup. Pieces not collected within that time will be donated.

Are the paints safe?

Yes! All of our glazes are non-toxic, water-based, and washable, making cleanup easy with just water.

Can I eat while I paint?

Yes! You’re welcome to enjoy food and drinks during your visit. Since oils from food can affect the glazing process, we recommend washing your hands before returning to painting.

Do you have painting ideas or techniques?

Yes! We offer over 10 specialty painting techniques, and hundreds of project ideas to help inspire your creativity.
